Társila Amazona Agua highlighted by Revista Gourmets
The wine chosen this time by the publication is a red wine with 18 months of ageing in French oak barrels, elaborated with our featured grape: Petit Verdot. This red wine belongs to the Amazona Collection: three special wines dedicated to Társila, our source of inspiration, our amazon woman, our warrior.
Deep cherry red with garnet edge. Of notable intensity, black fruit jam aromas, china ink, tar and sponge cake. Fruit liquor, mineral and smoked notes mouth feel.
It’s the third generation at the winery to maintain the good work spirit based on the terroir expression and aimed to express the Estate’s personality from which the wines come from.

THE PETIT VERDOT GRAPE VARIETY
The Petit Verdot grape variety has found its place at our Estate Dehesa de Fuentes de Duero, thanks to our constant and very dedicated job in the vineyard and in winery. We have achieved great results with this special and unique variety in the Duero River Basin.
We elaborate all of our red wines with at least 50% of Petit Verdot and also a monovarietal rosé. This grape gives structure, color intensity and blackberry and plum aromas. Its also good for an equilibrated acidity and sweet tannins. It comes from France and it means “little green” due to its late maturity and it is present at Bordeaux area, where it is only used in a 10% to give wines a touch of aroma, color, tannicity and acidity.
