Társila Amazona Aire highlighted in the wine supplement of the newspaper El Mundo
Our rosé wine, Társila Amazona Aire 2018 - 100% Petit Verdot, has been highlighted in the wine supplement La Posada from the newspaper El Mundo. Javier Pérez Andrés is the journalist and wine expert responsible for tasting the wines that appear in the publication. He has chosen Társila Amazona Aire, our Petit Verdot pale rosé wine. A tribute to Társila and all women as strong and independent as she is. Our source of inspiration, our amazon woman.
“A wine that makes a toast for the amazon woman. Rosé that clothes the glass with a magnificent soft strawberry color and a pale pink veil. Two traits that makes it unique: monovarietal of the red grape Petit Verdot and hand-harvested grapes at only a hundred meters from the Duero River. In the nose, symphony of floral and fruit aromas. In the mouth, fresh, light and an unique varietal background.”

OUR STRONG COMMITMENT WITH THE PETIT VERDOT VARIETY
We have talked about it before, we have a strong commitment with the Petit Verdot grape, and this rosé is a clear example of it. This grape is present in all of our red wines, at a 100% in other of our wines from the Amazon Collection, Társila Amazona Agua, and at a 50% with Tempranillo in Társila 6 Months and Társila 12 Months from the Fuentes de Duero Collection.
The Petit Verdot grape variety, of French origin meaning “Little Green”, of late ripening it is principally used to provide aroma, color, acidity and tannic grip (sometimes also alcoholic strength) to many of the great French red wines, using no more than 10% addition. It is manly found in the French Bordeaux area where the weather is more favorable. That’s why Petit Verdot works perfectly in our Estate Dehesa de Fuentes de Duero in Valladolid, providing depth and a very special complexity in mouth to our wines.
